No. Wickiup does not rent tubes, so guests should bring their own. In warmer months, Spearfish Creek offers plenty of opportunities for floating and cooling off, making it a favorite way to spend time in the water.
Yes. Spearfish Creek runs through our property, making Wickiup Cabins a fly fisherman's paradise. Just bring your waders and drop in. If you brought kayaks or prefer lake fishing, we are also a fantastic base camp for surrounding lake adventures.
Yes! We welcome dogs at Wickiup Cabins. The pet fee is $25 per dog, per day, with a maximum of two dogs per cabin. Dogs must be leashed on the property and cleaned up after.
Cell service is available in Spearfish Canyon, though coverage and signal strength vary by carrier and location. Wickiup Cabins also offers Wi Fi for calls, messages, and browsing. Since service in the canyon is not fiber based, speeds may be slower than in town and may not support streaming on devices.
Cabins are thoughtfully positioned to preserve privacy while still being part of a connected property. You won’t feel isolated, but you also won’t feel crowded. Many cabins are located directly along Spearfish Creek, while others offer creek views or are set slightly back within the canyon. Creekside availability varies by cabin, and specific locations are shown on the property map.
